At Anzani Engines, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our outboard engines. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide warranty coverage for products purchased from us. Our aim is to ensure your peace of mind and satisfaction with every engine.
1. Warranty Period
Anzani Engines provides a standard 3 - 5 limited warranty on all new outboard engines from the date of delivery. For any reconditioned or used engines, please refer to your specific sales agreement or contact us for details on the applicable warranty period.
2. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service during the warranty period. Anzani Engines will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part or parts that are found to be defective.
Specifically, this warranty covers:

Manufacturing defects: Issues arising from the production process.

Material defects: Flaws in the components used to build the engine.

Workmanship defects: Problems resulting from the assembly or reconditioning process.
3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear: Including, but not limited to, routine maintenance items, consumables (e.g., spark plugs, filters, lubricants), and general cosmetic deterioration.

Damage caused by improper installation: Issues arising from incorrect mounting, rigging, or connection to the watercraft.

Damage caused by misuse or abuse: Including, but not limited to, operation outside of recommended specifications, racing, overloading, accidents, impact, theft, or vandalism.

Damage caused by lack of proper maintenance: Failure to perform routine maintenance as outlined in the engine's manual or as advised by Anzani Engines.

Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs: Any alterations, repairs, or servicing performed by parties not authorized by Anzani Engines.

Environmental damage: Damage caused by extreme weather conditions, salt water corrosion (if not properly maintained), or other environmental factors.

Consequential or incidental damages: Including loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or any other economic loss.

Products not purchased directly from Anzani Engines: This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from our store at 170 Napier Street, Deniliquin, NSW 2710, Australia.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your outboard engine is experiencing a warrantable issue, please follow these steps:

Return for Inspection: We may require you to return the engine or the suspected defective part to our service location at 170 Napier Street, Deniliquin, NSW 2710, Australia for inspection. Shipping costs for warranty claims may be the responsibility of the customer.

Assessment and Resolution: Upon inspection, if a defect covered by this warranty is found, Anzani Engines will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective part or engine. We will communicate the expected timeline for resolution.
5. Limitation of Liability
Anzani Engines' liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. We are not liable for any other direct or indirect damages, losses, or expenses.
6. Your Consumer Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you may have under law.
